This deck recasts the traditional tarot deck with characters from the history of pulp illustration. Each member of this new ensemble brings a fresh POV and unexpected insight… ✨
Tarot decks were 15th century playing cards, and later tools for divination. Pulp magazines peaked with Depression-era longing for escapism, living on in modern forms and genres.
Both Pulp and Tarot are sources of stories that stir primal responses — love and bravery, fear and happiness, suspense and surprise — to give us a chance to reimagine ourselves.
